I bought these to use as communication devices between stage crew and front of house for the drama club at my school. These items are great for the price and pretty sturdy. We’ll see how they hold up after a few years of student use.

I use a lot of walkie-talkies at my business and they are often used by customers as well. This leads to a lot of wear and tear. This is the first time I have ordered this model and I can tell already that they will last longer. The sound is also much clearer than the previous radios we have used and cost about the same. They are nice and lightweight .A great deal.

I like that it has no interference, and works fine with the distance we needed. We use these for a small school when teachers go outdoors, so we can keep in touch.

I always check out what others have to say before I buy any product. I wanted these, for Camping and Trekking I'm not disappointed. These radios performed well under testing in a moderately built-up area and communication at 1.5 miles apart. These are well-thought radios by design a real credit to Retevis. The manual is well written and easy to understand. These radios have rubber bumpers at the base of the units, which should absorb an impact onto a hard surface. This radio feels comfortable to hold in the hand and has a very bright built-in flashlight. I have the EU-PMR446 8CH version which is 16CH capable. To switch between 8CH and 16CH modes, power on the radio whilst holding down the MON button. Each time you repeat this procedure the modes are exchanged between 8CH and 16CH. I actually prefer these radios over that of the overpriced Motorola Talkabout. The VOX works really well and so does the Baby Monitor function. The split charging cable enabling the charging of both radios at the same time from a single USB connection is brilliant. I recently bought the Ailunce HD1 GPS and aim to buy another, which is how I discovered Retevis. I was so impressed and now with these handy RT45 walkie-talkies, I have made Retevis my goto choice when it comes down to mobile communications. I have about thirty plus mobile radios of different makes and models so making Retevis my number one choice speaks volumes. I'm really impressed thank you Retevis.
