The range and clarity are good, My younger brother and I love these. It's just fun being able to communicate instantly whether we're around the house or shopping in a mall. The range is good considering the price and it doesn't suck up battery life.

Bought for my grandchildren they are boy's 3 �?4. Little to old for them. But we show them to just press the gray bottom only that works. Would do for older kids. 8 or over.
