I was needing a dual band radio that was cross band capable but the price of the other brands was making saving up for them take a long time. I finally decided to try this radio. It seems to be very comparable to other brand radios. The only thing I have noticed is that the mobile speaker seems a little fuzzy for the lack of a better word. I initially thought that the speaker was installed upside down, but it wasn't. It seemed to get better over time.
The radio cross bands quickly with very little tail noise. One thing that I truly like about this radio is the microphone! It is a speaker microphone. The top A/B buttons light so that you can tell which side of the radio is receiving. The lower A/B light give you an indication of which side you are set to transmit on. The big round A/B button makes it very easy to switch from side to side. This radio microphone has won me over!
I like the radio and will be taking it out in the field on it's first special event, a 50K run this weekend and confident that it will perform up to expectations. Would recommend an ok for anyone to purchase.

Nice radio for the money. I received the radio promptly although the mic had a button that was jammed in which I fixed myself.
