Since a few days ago I became the owner of RT73. The first impression is good. The sensitivity measurements of the receiver are good. The output power of the transmitter is 5W less than I expected (20W)! I hope that other fellow radio amateurs will quickly realize that the total number of programmable keys includes 4 on the microphone, even though they are not numbered with P4..P7. :) I will check how the GPS works in the coming days. I am extremely satisfied with the visibility of the software and I think that even beginners will easily master it. It would also be useful to have a tool to import contacts and contact groups directly from the Internet. I will test the GPS later. All in all, the radio is easily installed in vehicles. Software needs improvement

Nice little radio for most compact vehicles, to get it to work with a hotspot, you need to set TS to "on" not to 1 or 2. I would like to have a low power at 0.5 watts for hotspots (suggestion). Bad microphone quality, I am using one from a ht plugged to the side port.

It's a very nice little radio. It will fit in vehicle where others won't. Programming was fairly easy. Could use a couple additional features like speaker mute button and frequency reverse button. Software help feature could be a little clearer. All in all a very good radio.
