The range is good and they work good for my husband and his job. He uses them to keep in touch with his team as they work all over the plant he works at and are in diffrent areas at diffrent times all day. They are not allowed to have phones so these are perfect.

The radio works well and the range is decent. Typical range of a radio of this type. The only reason why I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 was because I could not program this from my Mac. I know there is PC software for this, but could not get the mac version to work.
So we use these radios for airsoft and they work well. They are small and fit into one of the magazine pouches or any smaller radio pouch. No problems with communicating across the field, which is about the size of a football field. Great amount of functions and allows you to use your own headset, as long as it is the double pin kind. You can even swap out the antenna if you wish but the antenna it comes with is decent. It's dual band so you can set it up for 2 different groups and switch back and forth.

Hello.... I am a hunter and angler!, for life..! I bought these as a 5 pack and that was just enough to cover my immediate family. I wish I had doubled up on my order because these little guys are great..., and for the price, well you just can't beat it with an ugly stick! There awesome and great. And the sound is unbelievable. I would recommend these to anyone! Most walkie talkies don't do very well in worded areas and these seam to do just fine! From 30-7 miles of range depending on your surroundings well if you ask me if your 7 miles from your buddy while hunting I think your walkie talkies aren't the problem!
