Awesome radios and as indicated the sound is clear and it covers a good range in distance. I've only had them for a couple of weeks but already feel this was a great buy and the seller is prompt in responding back with questions and concerns. I highly recommend and will come back for my next purchase.
Radios work good and are just as advertised. The battery seems to last only about 15 hours on stand by, not the best but I can live with it. I have an extra battery and keep it charged and just swap it out everyday. I use this for work to communicate with my employees and it works very well. I bought a 2 pack and am thinking about a few more.
Actually pretty shock at the distance I got with these once the antenna whip was put on, even for being in mountain terrain, as long as you're not in a low point in a mountain area the single keeps, definitely love these.
These are nice radios and they work very well. I've had these radios on stand-by for at least 4 days and are still going strong. Amazing endurance. We use these on a daily basis and I am a klutz and drop things all the time and they still work. Out of the probably 10 times I have ordered these only 1 came in broke and they sent me a replacement radio right away.

I have been using Ciscor nurse call for 20 years and the kenwood radios cost $500 per radio. These radios work great for a fraction of the price. I sent them out to be programmed and no one could do it so I programmed them myself. I looked at all the youtube videos and the eventual process was similar but not as shown. The key to programming is to download the cable driver from the CD and then you have to download the programing program from the retevis website under support. Unzip it and it is simple as long as you know the frequency and the encryption your system works off of.
Sound is good as long as you're in range. We used them for skiing. I think they work so well for us because we're always on the same side of the mountain. I was up stairs inside the rental office and could hear everyone up to about 3 miles away, including my husband who was in the condo at the time. We couldn't hear each other when I went around the mountain. We were very happy with these, especially considering the price.
Got my six pack last week, was suppose to get a programming cable and software to program them but it was missing. Got on line through Amazon and explained the problem and the shipped the missing items to me. Installed the software and am now able to program the radio's.
Like the look and feel of the radio's and believe that they will work well into my family Com plan. And by the way, the price was great.
Purchased these radios to use during harvest on a farming operation. Can talk across large open areas for a couple of miles or so no problem, clear as a bell. Way better than the GMRS 35 mile radios I have. We have been getting 2 days per charge, batteries still show 3/4 power at the end of second day. Just don't want to push my luck and have dead batteries half way through the third day. Radios had a lot of popping to them until I learned how to program the different squelch settings. I did have a problem with a couple of the chargers. Emailed cutomer service and replacements heading my way, you can't beat that. Would definitely buy again.
I think they are Great! I own a Security Company, although buildings block the signal somewhat, they are very well made, and very good looking radios, I am sure if I was not in the middle of a heavily populated are I would get more range, I am getting about 2 miles from insode my home to one of my patrols and they are inside their car. So I am happy with the radios and the price is excellent, quality is good not made cheap and look nice also. Everyone I have shown them to likes them and are impressed.
