Excellent radio without unnecessary "bells and whistles"

This is one of my favourite radios, and I have found that it is perfect for beginners and experts alike. Performance is flawless. It perfect for the beginner user, or the user without interest in digging deeper in a radio's features. Turn on the radio, select channel and use it! But I think that it is perfect for expert heavy duty users as well. If you are an experienced user, and have no need for long list of contacts it is perfect as well. You just customize it as you want it. I also want to praise Retevis. For an unknown reason I had problems using the programming software on my computer, but after some information exchange I got another version of the software that worked perfect. Retevis is the best company when it comes to custom support and satisfaction.

I have bought 6 of these over the last 4 or 5 months. Love them so far. I haven’t had the time to go through all the features. I need to still learn what these things can do. I just know they work well for us. Planning on buying more after the turn of the year.

I have several makes of DMR radios and this RT50 is so much better then the other makes. Easy to program, nice volumn, . A ton of channels and great price. Nice quality, I love mine.

Bought 5 units to replace old radios. One of them has problems programming.Sent it through customer support on Thursday afternoon and recieved a replacement Monday morning. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! The radios are working fine.

Radio works well, no big complaints here.I believe all the Chinese dual-banders have the same type receivers and this has not been an issue for me.has long battery life, and is easy to use.
