I've not tested it in very hard situation, but it's work great on a boat getting in and out from the water. Needs to be programmed as the interface is very easy, but the customer care is amazing in helping you to find solutions.

I picked these radio for my vacation with friends, driving two cars. FRS channel is quite enough for us to use. Sound is clear and good. Battery life is accpetable. We just change it once during 4 days driving.
