Feels like good quality. Haven't tested just how far they will go but far enough for our needs so far. They were a Christmas present for my son and he loves them. Smaller than old style ones but I like that. Work great.

Have a pair of these and the idea was to "play" with them with our 3 and a half year old grandchild. They are very rugged little radio's and small enough for a child that age to handle. Audio is great on both transmit and receive and the flashlight is a very bright LED. Per the manual they can be recharged with the USB port if you have the right batteries but no mention of what the right one's are and they don't come with batteries but they do also use 3 AAA size batteries. VOX works very well for a radio this inexpensive. Our grandchild is to young to appreciate the radio as such but loved the flashlight. I'd recommend these for children 5 and up maybe that would be able to enjoy them and they'd also be pretty handy for adults when shopping etc. and didn't want to call or text each other on cells when shopping in different areas of a store. Much smaller than we were expecting but doesn't seem to bother the kids. Work a pretty good distance, our house to the neighbors across the street! Wish they came with a charger though.

I have a different walkie talkie I originally got for the kids, but they had trouble pushing the talk button down so I searched for a different one and came across this model. This particular model uses 3 AAA batteries each, but there's also a USB plug, so it as be possible to use with rechargeable batteries. It is small and is perfect for kids and their small hands. The talk button is also very easy to press. It has a built in led flashlite so that you can see in the dark or when kids are hiding in the closet or under their bed! There's also a belt clip so you can clip it onto your belt or waistband.

Initially I didn't receive these walkie talkies but the seller made it right and sent them again. First off, I love the print. It's one of the reasons I selected these. Secondly, these are working great so far for what we bought them for. The kids use them around the neighborhood and in the house. They are having a blast with these! They are easy to use and so far a great product.
