I will use this at swim meets in order to be able to quickly communicate with the other officials. One time, my team member needed to run to the store to pick up some supplies. He was about two miles away from where we were, and the entire time, he was able to stay in constant radio communication, and never missed a beat! And the rechargeable batteries to help keep down on recurring costs and waste.

These radios are awesome! We use them when we go camping at Disney. My son also uses them when he goes bike riding around the neighborhood.

I ordered this items a long time ago for my business. They are a great way to communicate with my staff. However, you only can go a certain distance before you lose contact and sometimes the radios interfere with another person's radio system.

So far so good, had the radios for only a day so far and they seem to have a great distance even in the suburbs. I was about 2.5 miles away from the other radio and could still here him . I plan to use these for car to car driving so that shouldn’t be a problem with these. The 18 mike range description is with no interference, including hills, buildings, and perhaps other radios. I could hear the other person loud and clear while driving about 2.5 miles away . Still have yet to use them more and see but so far so good , excellent product.

Though it did not come hear plug/piece but did a good job. I use to communicate with Camera men and the control room. I bought just two piece but from the use of it. i intend buying more. Good product all the way.
