I run a large heavy equipment dealership and repair facility on about a 9-acre lot. We had leased radios that were very expensive and were a lot of problems. So when the lease expired I returned them and got nice Motorola 2 way radios for all my guys and that was a total failure, horrible call clarity and limited range with the metal buildings. So before I bit the bullet and leased more radios I gave these "el cheapo" radios a try just to see and holy crap they work better than the leased ones and 5 of them were less money than 1 leased radio! They work in every corner of my yard and in the buildings with no problems, battery life is just as good if not better and the call clarity is like a cell phone. I cant recommend these radios enough!

Pretty decent. Battery life isn’t too bad, I use it about 12-14 hours and doesn’t die. Overall pretty good for the price.

These radios feel sturdy. No plastic bends or gaps when squeezed. They do not use the same PL Tones as my Motorola FRS radios but were easily reprogrammed using a Kenwood KPG-22U or similar cable. The antennas are non-removable as required for part 95 certification so I was unable to check the transmit power and the signal on a spectrum analyzer for spurious emmissions.

Really I like everything about these walkies, very easy to use, to link and unlink. The volume is great from a whisper to loud enough to hear in an extremely loud automotive workshop. The only complaint I have is the seller, you really need to provide more accurate delivery dates. Item was boxed perfectly. Item exceeded my expectations.
