Solid units worked right out of the box after a quick charge. Perfect for our church to use without a ton of controls that the operator can mess up. To the operator it is very simple, on/off/volume, channel select, PTT, Monitor and scan. With the programming cable we have tons of options so the are all the same but nothing the operator can mess up. Good size as well.

I do the technology for my local sportsman's club and we needed a way to communicate during events and work party days. I needed something simple and license fee. The Retevis RT27 has been perfect for our club. It's simple On/Off and channel dial means I can train folks to use it in about 20 seconds. The range has been great - about a 1/2 mile through heavy brush which is better than we hoped. Battery live has been more than we needed for a full day event. I would recommend these and Retevis - their customer service is outstanding for a company not in USA!

This kit was purchased for use at a property with 4 separate buildings separated by several hundred feet. After initial use, the radios operate well within the one main, two story building made primarily of concrete. Coverage to the other buildings on the property is also good. I would recommend this product.
