Works very well. Power output is a little less than advertised, but much improved over other low-end Uhf/Vhf radios.

If you were thinking about getting a high power radio for less money, I think you should buy this one.

Very happy with the upgraded version. Need the 10 watts to make a solid connection with my favorite repeater.

This small radio is very good,it was too easy for me to program desired frequencies and two VFO freqs.the TX audio quality is crystal clear, battery needs too long to be fully charged but that is normal because of been 3000 mA to be able to handle high current when TX in 10W. What I like the most is how light it is, it don't feel in my belt using the battery clip.

The radio is one of the better Chinese radios I've operated. It's has advanced features, works well, includes several accessories, and it costs under $100. I like it a lot, and it's a great addition to my radio collection. An affordable radio to own for ham radio or commercial use.

There are other great reviews here, so I am going to approach this in more simple terms. I've been a ham for 41 years. I work in the commercial LMR business selling top quality radios for business and public safety applications. Starting with opening the box and looking at the radio. I have a few other low priced imported radios, I will say this one right from the start impressed me as being a better radio. The feel of the radio is much more ergonomic than some of the other imported radios I have. The radio feels good in your hands, not too heavy and easier to read the markings and labels on the radio than most.

Works well with great battery life. For the money you cant go wrong.

Great battery life, solid construction, programming wasn't to hard to figure out with help from the websit. I'm overall happy. I just wish the channel presets could be labeled.

My second radio, I had to buy another one, great radio and feels real Heavy duty, battery life is also great!!!

After owning several Chinese radios, I have finally found one that I can call "the keeper". This radio is very sturdy, and offers great value. Range is good, reception is good, volume is better than most of the others that I have found.
