I use the walkie talkies for school safety patrol. They work well over our 1/4 mile range which includes houses and buildings in the way. They are also small enough for all patrollers to carry without hindrance. BTW: Customer Service went out of their way to clear up a "Warehouse Deal" mistake (they only sent two when the order was for four; I think someone sent two back but kept two). Anyway, they will try hard to make sure you're happy.

They are handy and effective if everyone remembers to charge their walkie talkie and have it with them. I bought this set because I've been unable to get around very well and if everyone is out side and I need help I can reach them and they can check on me. I know we will use them for other needs as well.

We bought this 4 pack with the expectations of having 1 in each area, boat, car, our RV and Dad's RV. We have been able to get clear reception from our RV on the GA/NC line driving to Hayesville, NC (5 miles). It works while the guys are in the boat on Lake Chatuge (several miles) and I am in the RV. It works from one RV to another RV. It doesn't work clearly driving from our RV to Hiawassee, GA to many ups and downs (mountains). We would DEFINITELY buy these again.

They work excellent for our job site , good clarity , durable as it is a construction site and needed . Could use a longer battery life but it is not a deal breaker as we are working long ours . Great product would recommend to anyone for purchase .

These have a very good range. Use them to stay in touch with the kids in a large neighborhood. No problem sending and receiving at 1/3 to 1/2 miles from inside houses that far apart. Haven't tried them past 1/2 mile. Hardware quality is pretty good, not top of the line, but they feel durable enough.
