on and daughter have fun with it around the house. Even my husband and father in law used these for a project to communicate from the attic to the basement to run wire. Comes in handy! The sound is clear.

These are excellent radios. I have only used them for short distances so far. Under a half mile through woods and from house to house. Signal quality has been very good. Clear audio and plenty of volume. They seem to be made rugged enough for normal use.

Worked great! Good reception, easy to use. Battery drain was a bit more than I expected. We used 2 sets of these (4 total) for a week long festival that is on a little less than 40 acres of land. We had them on from about noon-5pm everyday and had to change the batteries 3 times during the week with minimal usage. Area that we used it in was partially wooded & we didn't have any problem with reception.
