I bought this as an early christmas gift for my husband. I love the rugged design. My husband and kids drop it all the time and it still works! We live on a 25 acre farm and we have never had an issue with range. Long battery life and the sound is crystal clear.

I have a small construction crew and saw these new Retevis walkie talkies. Have used them for a few days now and can’t believe how far away they will work. It’s been much easier that using our cell phones. Size of these are great. Very rugged and will survive a drop and even if it doesn’t survive the fall it has a 2 year warranty!!

I do not often take the time to write reviews on products. I felt this set was worth sharing a review for others. As an Industrial Business in the Wood Products Industry, we have been searching for a good 2-way radio that is compatible with we other "out of the box ready to use" radios. Otherwise, we would have to replace our entire system instead of integrating radios in to replace our current models when they fail. So far, this radio has clear reception, decent distance, long battery life, and is light weight to carry.

A great buy. Make sure label mic plug is all the way in. May have to push hard other then that highly recommended. Excellent customer support.

Great radios. Delivered extremely fast. They are very simple to use and a great value. Harder to use them around loud machinery but that is to be expected. They're also pretty durable too.

Distance in and around farm land with some trees is about 1.5 miles, and almost 1.8 with the long antenna. This is actually betger than most other radios ive owned that were rated at 35 miles. I purchased the two units and both the ear pieces with push button mics died after about an hour of use. Radio is good but accessories are cheaply made. Customer service is great. They are sending me two new earpieces.
