I was looking for a two way radio for me and my hunting partner that works and works well all the time and I finally found me a pair the ( Retevis rt1 ) with out breaking the bank they work great I haven’t had a problem since day one and I’m in all kinds of weather, up tree stands , in deep woods , they just work I’m so glad I finally found a good pair of walkie talkies and for the price I’m going to buy a couple more

These things work great, we have a big backyard and decent size house and the coverage is very good. reminds me of being a little kid and playing with these in the woods and down by the crick, which lead to a creek and subsequently a pond. Also, durable and battery life is above average from what i can tell.

We have used it in large buildings and in a suburban neighborhood and both worked really well. We feel prepared in the event that the power goes out and we need to depend on something else for weather alerts and radio access.

The only downside is the weight �?these are fairly heavy items to carry on an extended hike �?but that's the tradeoff for the battery life and range.
