The Fire Ham
Perfect!!!! well..... almost but close enough
This radio is all i hoped it would be and so much more. first off this is one of the sexiest radios ive ever owned seen and even better then all motorolas. it covers VHF and UHF both in digital and analog as well as all ham bands GMRS/FRS and MURS. this radio covers all for me as well as some scanner frequiencies. it truly is a do it all radio and having 10 watts is great for when im using it as a base station. ive even had guys at the fire hosue think that it was the new radios we are going to at work haha now the only issue have that keeps it from being a perfect 5 star is very minor. sometimes when changing channels fast with the knob on top it skips backwards. there are also other small bugs when programming but that all comes down to personal preference. overall however i feel this is the best you can get and you will never be disappointed with it.

Quality, well made, versatile radio.
Nice quality. Many features, good audio on transmit and receive. Easy to program and use on both analog and digital modes. Great for use with an RF hotspot. Good support and numerous videos to assist the user.

I love the Ailuance HD1 DMR Transceiver
I love the Ailuance HD1 DMR Transceiver. I liked it so much I bought two. Digital is the wave of the future. In some rrspects it is better than HF, although the diehards will wrinkle their noses at this. My one disappointment is that you cannot use the keypad to enter a code when the mic is qued.

You can program the entire radio from the front panel there was no need for a computer which makes it an excellent feature. Their customer service Department is excellent
I received my HD1 2 days after placing the order. I am very impressed with the build quality and the overall features with this radio. You can program the entire radio from the front panel there was no need for a computer which makes it an excellent feature. Their customer service Department is excellent. I had a minor issue with the radio getting hot when using high power I contacted customer service and they responded to me in less than 24 hours on how to remedy the problem, that being said I would recommend this radio to anyone with an amateur radio license that is looking for a handheld DMR radio

Real HT not a toy! Update you can talk World Wide with a little help.
Great radio easy to set up with the software. I will recommend this to anyone wanting a DMR radio. The radio is very well made and doesn’t feel like a toy. Update: It's been over a week since I received this radio and it works great. Very easy to program from the front keypad. You can find several videos on youtube that gives you plenty of help along with the expert customer service of the seller and manufacturer. Since I live in an apartment I can't use an outside antenna, however, It has no problem hitting analog repeaters 13 miles away. Since at this time there are now DMR repeaters in my area I use a Jumbospot for DMR, which makes it able to talk worldwide on just 1 watt!

HD1 worth it
Just came in yesterday. So far love it. Great reports. I only have a few channels programed so far. Feels good in my hand. I think I will like better than the GD 77 which was my favorite. But I can do about all from the keyboard. Not sure what one other review was talking about with needing a thin belt. Ok it is tight on my duty belt. But fits my 1 1/2 belt fine. Well worth checking out

starsDMR is a blast! Still Hanging Onto My HF Gear!!!
After spending a few days programming my friends radio, and now my own, I am very please with the quality of the Ailunce HD1. We have had great audio reports from those who we have contacted. These radios are very new out and unless someone already has a code plug written, you will be building your code plug from scratch as in my case I have the very first HD1 in the state of Montana. Between the two units, quality control has been very good. This radio has a nice clear screen with large text on the display. I typically have been transmitting on low power through a oneSpot node, so the battery lasts a very long time. I have yet to drain it below 80%. I do have the analog repeaters set to operate at high power, and still strong battery. Remember when you program your analog frequencies in that you set your bandwidth wide otherwise you will get weaker audio reports.

Like this Radio
Good radio. New to DMR however it make it easy to program. Analog receive isn't quite as good as my old iCom IC-V82 but the old iCom isn't DMR either. I thought I was getting the GPS but didn't and really don't know what good it would of done to have it. The radio is sturdy and the battery last along time, like many hours unlike my Yaesu which only last an hour at the most. I would buy this radio again. Nice build, solid... durable. Thanks RETEVIS!!
